Description

THIS WORKSHOP WILL NOT BE GOING AHEAD, BUT LOOK FORWARD TO SEEING YOU ON SATURDAY OR THURSDAY AFTERNOON FOR THE ADULTS WORKSHOPS

A fun and creative way to welcome in Yuletide as a family. Join us to make your own family wild wreath, with artist Jenny Smith.

We will start with a slide show exploring the creative possibilities of wild wreath making and looking at examples from previous course participants. You will then be given step by step instructions on how to make your own unique wild wreath (including making a base with sphagnum and moss that has been foraged from the machair) and tips on how to keep it fresh in the run up to Xmas.

All materials provided, including a selection of locally foraged foilage and ribbons, baubles, etc to personalise. You are also welcome to bring in foilage from your garden/local area and anything else that you might like to include to make it even more personal.

All welcome. No previous experience required. We will have some festive music playing and a complimentary glass of mulled fruit juice will be provided.

Numbers limited. One family booking can include up to 3 children. Please specify the number of children in your family group, when you book. Why not have lunch in the cafe @ Grinneabhat afterwards?

Time 10.30 – 12.30 pm

Cost £30
